Religious iconography is not my forte, but a client asked me to make a mosaic of Jesus. I took it on as a challenge, at least in part because I wanted to test my skill completing a portrait. Getting skin is tough because with stained glass as my medium, what exactly are my choices for colors? Not so many. And that is completely putting aside the question of what are the right choice(s) for Jesus? This is my version.
